Los Lunas High School
LLHS Dress Code

LLHS Students: Dress to Respect!
Our school should be a place where everyone feels safe, respected, and ready to learn. Your outfit should help, not hurt, our school environment.
What is good to wear?
Wear clothes that are comfortable, appropriate, and allow you to focus on learning.
What is NOT allowed?
The following items are not allowed because they can be distracting, disrepectful, and unsafe:

- No clothing that does not fully cover buttocks
- No exposed underwear
- No revealing chest area
- No slippers, pajamas, or blankets
- No face coverings (except for religious or medical reasons)
- No gang or hate group clothing or symbols
- No drugs, alcohol, weapons, violence or illegal activity
- No vulgar, racist, or hate-based language/images
- No sagging pants

Our values:
- Express yourself: dress how you want - within the rules.
- Everyone is treated fairly: our dress code is for everyone
- Remove barriers: we want you here, on time and ready to learn.
Remember:
- Dress for school.
- When in doubt, ask!
- Teachers and staff will use respect and discretion when addressing dress code.
